We are currently in production doing interviews for Reefer Rendum.  “The movie was inspired while I was performing my comedy hypnosis shows in Colorado when they passed Amendment 64 legalizing the recreational use of marijuana”, states Barnhart.  “My hypnosis CDs are already featured in many of the medical marijuana clinics as another alternative source of both physical and mental health”.

Barnhart’s comedic background takes a humorous approach to the controversial subject with interviews by celebrities, law enforcement, medical personnel, government agencies and stand up comedians.

The comedians use their humor to poke fun at the antiquated laws and hypocrisy while bringing light to the subject and not all the comics interviewed are pro-pot but they all have something to say.

Currently, only 18 states approve the use of medical marijuana.  Colorado and Washington are the first two states to legalize it’s use for recreational purposes and many states are pushing for their own referendums and hope to change the law on the national level.  This truly could be the beginning of a national end to this modern day era of prohibition.

Reefer Rendum focuses on the current laws that are out there and what needs to be done to change them as well as the thoughts and opionions of both sides of the aurgument.  This is America. Land of the free yet out government keeps passing laws that the people do not want or need but that is all changing.

Timing is most important as every news station and talk show is talking about the changes in these two states and we need to get this project out asap to keep the ground swell growing. Reefer Rendum shows the truth behind our current laws, opinions and propaganda the goes with them and what needs to be done to change the face of both medical and recreational marijuana across America on the federal level.  The movie is informative, educational, funny and entertaining.

These laws restrict our civil liberties and affect everyone living in America.  We are currently working in association with Trichome Health Consultants in Colorado Springs and have access to their clinic's operation from their consultants and medicine to their grow houses and food products.
